The arcs of this fan soundtrack are based loosely on the arcs of the Higurashi series. I had a lot of fun arranging things and trying to keep with the pattern of lighthearted fun devolving into shit getting real. The focuses of each arc are as follows:

Out of all the fan soundtracks I’ve done, two come to mind as having especially distinct personalities. This is one of them.
Red Kite is a very mellow, laidback, nostalgic mix that can be best described as representing the music of my childhood. It’s romantic and speaks to lazy summer days of daydreaming about both the past and the days to come.
And I think that fits Vaan and Penelo quite well.
I still pull this mix out now and then, these songs never do get old. ♥CARNIVAL

My sixth Axel/Roxas fan soundtrack, and another 2-disc set. Seeing as I haven’t posted one in almost two years, it’s also a sign that I really fucking need to get some new music out to you kids. (Which shouldn’t be too hard, considering I’ve got a list of songs a mile long, and I’ll probably focus on getting up a good base for two separate fsts from those.)

This mix actually came out before Axel/Roxas FST 4. I had a few friends who were having a tough time of things, so I threw this together as a light-hearted mix to cheer them up. Because of that, it’s a bit less polished than most of my fan soundtracks usually are, but it’s a good pick-me-up and a fun listen.
